Harry Borden, one of the leading portrait photographers of our time, sat for me in his South London Flat along with the newest addition to his family. With our cups of tea finished and pushed to the side, and all talk of photography and portfolios and interesting clients out of the way, Harry asked if I would be willing to take some pictures…
Harry, thank you for opening your home to me and for everything you have taught me…and continue to teach me. I will hold the memory of sitting on the floor together with you in your office, browsing through images on your laptop – which was balancing on the top of a box – as one of the top. Right up there with driving around London getting lost while we chatted away and of course, taking your portrait. px
